Ninth Season of
International Films Opens in Onancock
ONANCOCK – Onancock International Films, a non-profit group of and for movie lovers, has been presenting films on the second Thursday of each month at 8 p.m. since October of 1995. The Eastern Shore of Virginia has continued to flock to the Roseland for the international films. Attendance has been strong with over a hundred loyal movie fans each film and new faces every month.
Onancock International Films is pleased to announce their ninth season, which consists of four films, presented at 8 PM on the second Thursday of the month from Augustl through November.

Onancock International Films, founded by Steve Lotharius, owner of The North Street Market, and Kitty Croke, began in October 2005. Overwhelming response from the audience prompted the establishment of a committee of four Onancock residents including Lotharius and Croke, who are dedicating themselves to keeping it going. The committee includes Jean Hungiville and Teri Betz. Jean’s company Minuteman Press, produces the posters, brochures and tickets. The first five series have resulted in a growing following of International films. The largest audience to date was 250 movie lovers!
